Hiya Pogonians … It’s March! How did February go by so fast? Because time flies when you’re having FUN! And there’s been lots to have FUN doing on Pogo, as I look over my llama-shoulder at this past month.
We released the new hidden object game, StoryQuest, anyone and everyone can now play Poppit! Bingo until they burst, and another super FUN Amazing Mini Valentine’s Day Show swept us off our feet! Do we know how to pack a lot of FUN into a short month or what?!
I predict March is going to come in like a lamb and out like a lion with Spring blowing in a flurry of surprises for you this season. Next week’s blog post is going to give you some serious springtime scoop on that front. Stay tuned.
Oh! And with St. Patrick’s day coming up, our Pogo Pinterest peeps are already pinning the luckiest pins to be had this season. Follow us on Pinterest!
Pogo Artist, Tony, is back this week with a sneak peek of the new Premium Badge Album (PBA) that’ll be available to all on March 4th.
Tony had a hard time choosing which sketch to preview, so I helped him pick two. Here’s what he had to say about each of them:
“A legendary cowgirl rides giant bulls and ropes calves with ease in this high energy rodeo badge. Legend has it when she fell from a bull she always landed gracefully on her feet. Must have been those fancy boots.”
“This Rainy Day Spider Solitaire badge takes place in the Wild West era of history. Our favorite Arachnid is a walking Six-Shooter as he lays down the law on a bad guy who comes to his town. ”
Thanks, Tony! Can’t wait to add these to my collection.
It’s no secret that I think the best part about Pogo is the Community (thanks to you). It makes me the happiest! Sometimes I’m asked how you make friends on Pogo. What a great question—especially when you’re new and figuring things out. So, let’s toss the question out to the Community!
Tell us (and your fellow Pogo Players), Pogonians … how did you make your best friend(s) on Pogo? This is a great place to show folks how helpful the Pogo Community is with your tips and stories about friendships in the Comments. Come to think of it, some of you may find a new friend right here!
A couple of ways I’ve found to be helpful are to strike up a convo in a chatty game room using the chat functionality. Another idea might be to discuss Badges you really like in the Forums. In fact, the Forums are a great place for asking questions. Check ‘em out!
Thanks for sharing your insights in the Comments below!
Q. What is your favorite Pogo Word Game?
1. Word Whomp
2. BOGGLE Bash
3. I like all of Pogo’s Word Games!
I’m jazzed to know Pogo’s Word Games enjoyed by everyone. Don’t forget, if there’s a game you wanna see (any game at all!), let us know in the Comments. We’re all ears!
Every week I answer a question or two (non-technical) related to Pogo. We get lots of questions every week, so I try to focus on common themes or the same question coming from different folks. To submit your questions for the Pogo Insider, click here!

Q: Does Pogo plan to go into the vault and bring back some old Minis?
A: Indeed we can, have and shall do that going forward! I talked with Pogo_Rachael and she asks that you request what past Mini items you’d like to see so she knows what to look for (if she can find it).
You can request an item you’d like to see by going here to the Mini Items Request area in the Forums.
P.S. Please (pretty please) remember … the more details you, the easier it is to find.
Q: I miss Pogo Expressions. When will we see them again?
A: Yes! Great question. I chatted with the Team and we’re concocting a plan to see what we can do. (They’re so fun for the holidays, right?) Can’t make any promises (yet), but I’m working on it.
When I’ve got the scoop, you’ll be the first to know.
Alrighty folks, I’m off to try my hand at PayDay FreeCell and the Too Much Scratching Badge. Which makes me think of hiking … because in addition to food, I love hiking. And when I’m hiking (trekking in Sedona, AZ is my favorite), I do whatever I can to avoid something that would result in too much scratching (like poison oak).
In fact, just thinking about scratching makes me feel itchy.
And now that I’m thinking about it (scratch, scratch), I’m not quite sure (itch, itch) how I feel about this Badge after all. Better win it fast!
Have a great (scratch, itch) day!
