  • Hi John! I haven’t heard mention of The Foundation Trilogy in years – fabulous books! I think you have inspired me to reread them, since I can no longer remember the last line of the last book – but I recall it was a doozie! Best of luck on Pogo and in life!

  • John, I liked your article. You looked like someone I knew long ago. Handsome man.
Hope you feel better and thanks for humor.

  • Thank you for your service John. My husband is a retired Air Force vet. Enjoy your retirement! Love the stupidity and morons, lol. And, I happen to live by the “mouse house”..hehehe. You and Bebe continue to have fun on Pogo!

  • Great spotlight, John! I applaud and thank you for serving our country. Another round of applause for your breakfast….now, that’s my kind of breakfast! :) Wishing you and your wife nothing but the best, and many happy hours on Pogo!

  • Thanks for your service. I have a grandson who finished 12 years with the Navy–was injured in Afghanistan while service with multi-service forces. Navy ended his career. I have a grandson-in-law that is career Army. I so admire the dedication and total commitment our military make. (Military wives never get the kudos they deserve either!)

  • Hi John,
I love reading your profile you seem like a cool guy. I want to Thank You for your service.
I also like the part about the mice. What a sense of humor you have. Enjoy your retirement you deserve it

  • Okay awesome but what is navy coffee lol

    • Hi Lisa. Navy coffee is usually coffee that has been re-brewed a few times. It’s very very very strong coffee, to say the least..lol. When people drink Navy coffee, they usually never rinse out their cup because that’s what also helps to keep the Navy coffee strong.

If I missed something, John, please just add to this. :)

      I hope that helps, Lisa.

  • HI John, I loved reading your bio. Thanks for the laughs you gave me. I really loved your favorite season, I’m with you! I bet you keep your wife smiling. God Bless you, you are a really special guy.

  • That was the best bio I’ve read. I loved your comment that cats are psycho. I have 4 of those psycho cats. And I agree, get rid of stupidity and morons.

  • Nice to meet you, John. Thank you very much for your service in the Navy. I, too, have 2 psycho cats..lol…brother and sister and both rescue cats. I really love your bio. Take care and keep on drinking that Navy coffee! :)

  • Thanks John! Happy Gaming, and thank you for your service. Football season is here! Canton Ohio just had Hall Of Fame weekend, so we’re good to go!! :)

  • John,

Nice to meet you, thank you for your services in the Navy, it took me to do a double take when I read “Stupidity & morons” as your answer to the emotions question; but I am assuming that you took the (if you’ll excuse me here) General MI (Military Intelligence) road (again please excuse me but I can’t ignore any opportunity to show off an Oxymoron i.e. “Thunderous Silence”, “Girly Men”, “Sweet Sorrow” there are many others got to love the world of writing) So I am also going to assume that your answer was inspired by mad man Kim Jong Un and by wanna-be entertainer Justin Bieber.

Happy gaming John, and have a grand week

  • Enjoyed your bio John. Especially the Stupid and morons, which would eleminate most of the population. One of my friends favorite sayings is “I can fix almost anything but stupidity” Been saying that for over 40 years. Lol

  • Nice Bio, John.

Good luck to you and yours with your future game/s here on Pogo, and take no notice of the ‘negative nellies’ above.

p.s. as you so eloquently put it above – “Don’t sweat the small stuff”

…….all the best from a fellow Taurean, down under….:)

  • I absolutely loved your Bio John…just ignore the rude people that feel the need to pick and pick on others…I pray for those people every day..keep smiling John and have a beautiful Pogo week!!

  • Hi John, Thanks for your service and hope you are treated well at the VA. It was great that you reminded me of Foundation Trilogy. Love Isaac Asimov, met him once and got his autograph. Your wife is very lucky as you have a great sense of humor and sound like a happy happy retired couple. Keep up the good work and again thanks for serving our country. I agree with all you say bye bye morons etc right on.

  • Thank you for your service and sacrifice for our country, John. I love that you and the wifey play on Pogo together! Great bio :D

  • well my only comment here on the bio was the answer about removing emotions. stupidity and morons are not emotions. emotions are feelings such as hate, anger, love.
stupidity and morons are another matter all together. they are levels of intelligence.

  • Thank you for your Service, dedication, and sacrifice to our great nation.

  • Great bio, John. Thank you for serving our country! (My late hubby was a Navy guy, too.) Love your “football” season answer. All the best to you and your wife, bibi. I so enjoyed meeting you!

  • hey johnp52,

ya answer here you obviously didnt pay attention now did ya? *ahem*
nor did ya know the difference of emotions vs derogatory terms?

    quote:
“If you could remove any emotion from mankind, which one would you choose? Stupidity & morons”
anyone who has a heart a soul a conscience KNOWS what the difference IS

  • Coming from a military family (including my husband), I must say you have the best sense of humor. Good luck to and good fortune to you and “bibi”

  • Thanks John for a wonderful bio. Thanks for serving! I love your life philosophy answer, it’s a great one:) You and bibi have fun on pogo.

  • Great bio John, I also loved your “life philosophy” answer :) Another wise one from the late Maya Angelou is “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.” Enjoy your retirement :)
