Player Spotlight – BeeBeeStinger

First name: Cassy

Screen name: BeeBeeStinger

Tell us a little bit about yourself : I am 30 and have lived in Minnesota my whole life. I don’t have too much family left, but the family I have I wouldn’t trade for anything, they are my best friends! I am the type of person that wants to be friends with anyone and everyone… till you give me a reason not to be ;) I LOVE the water, I live in the land of 10,000 lakes… it’s in my DNA. Just give me a boat, fishing pole, and a radio and I will be the happiest person in the world. Also, music is my life. I am the type of person that just by listening to a song their whole mood will change.

State, Province or Country?  Minnesota, USA… but I’m moving to Colorado Springs, CO in a few months

Astrological sign? Cancer

What do you usually play on Pogo.com?  Oh my… everything LOL. I’m usually all over the place. Bingo, Solitaire, Hidden Object Games, Slingo, Word Whomp, Slots… even go into Word Search Daily from time to time.
What did you have for breakfast this morning? I didn’t… oops! A McDonald’s breakfast burrito sounds amazing though.

What is your favorite Pogo.com game? I have a lot, but if I had to pick it would be Hog Heaven Slots, or any bingo game.

What’s your favorite TV show? Another question with too many answers. lol. Right now I am watching Parenthood and America’s Got Talent.

What’s your favorite drink? Diet Mountain Dew, or wine :)

What’s your favorite season? Fall, I LOVE the colors and the smells of bonfires!

Apart from Pogo, what are your hobbies?  Mainly my 2 bulldogs, they keep me pretty busy. I love to do puzzles of any kind. In those brief couple months where we get to have warm weather, I love to get to the lake and be out on the water. Another big love of mine is singing, whether it be in a choir or in a bar at the karaoke stand. And softball… when it is nice enough to play :D

What’s the last good book you read? That would be the Hunger Games books… I haven’t read in a while.

Who’s your hero or heroine and why? My little sister hands down. She is the most amazing person I know. When I was 16 we started to have a very hard home life with my father being an abusive alcoholic/losing his job, and my mom not knowing how to deal with it anymore. She was only 10. Not only did she make it through that whole horrible situation, but she thrived. She is the first person in my family to graduate with a 4 year college degree, and even though she is 6 years younger, I look up to her more than anyone or anything else. She is a strong, smart, successful, beautiful woman and I could not be anymore proud of her.

If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?  I would go listen in on secret government/political meeting and get some dirt of the big guys, get some changes made in Washington and get our country back the way it should be!

If you could gently remove any celebrity from the spotlight, who would it be? JUSTIN BIEBER AND TAYLOR SWIFT

Do you have a clean joke you can share with us? Q: Why should you never gamble in Africa? A: Because of all the cheetahs ;) HAHA

How long have you been playing Pogo? I have been a member since 2003

What makes you a unique Pogo fan? Hmmm… I am a unique person just in general. But I think it makes me a little unique that I started playing POGO as young as I did and still play.

I can usually be found on Pogo.com playing: in the evenings, come play with me!

Coffee, tea, or soda? soda

Sugary treats or salty treats? I have a major sweet tooth, but my obsession right now is Lay’s Kettle Cooked aged cheddar & black pepper chips. LOL

Cat, dog or small rodent? Dog

If you could remove any emotion from mankind, which one would you choose? GREED!! It is killing us. I can see it more and more everyday and it is so sad. There is a reason greed is one of the deadly sins. We need to realize money is not the most important thing out there and start changing! Put friends and family first. Let’s make this country what it used to be!

  • I loved reading your profile. You sound like such an amazing and sensible young woman. It takes a lot to “impress” me, but you did accomplish that. Best of luck to you, in all that you strive for in life. I used to live in Boulder, but the business I owned meant going to Colorado Springs quite often…..you’re gonna love living there!! What a truly delightful selection for the player spotlight. ♥♥♥

  • Wow BeeBee, I’ve never commented on a profile before but your replies compelled me. Being a Cancer also and having lost a few family members recently, I know it can be tough. Enjoy the water when you can and god bless you and yours!!!!

  • Cassy,

LOL your joke made me laugh pretty good. You’ll love Colorado, such a beautiful state. And many fishing opportunities out there.

I agree that greed needs to go, when Ebenezer Scrooge let go of his greed he became much more happier (A Christmas Carol is one of my favorite Dickens novels)

Would you mind me friending you? You have such a great outlook on life and we share the same thoughts about how our government needs to be improved. And I also think it’s great you look up to your little sister, sometimes it’s the younger sisters/brothers that get all the breaks.

Enjoy your time here in the Spotlight, you’ve earned it :)

  • Awesome profile! Enjoyed reading it. I hope you enjoy your move to Colorado and from the sound of your attitudes in life, you will! Hope to find you on pogo sometime.

  • Hi Casey,
I had a friend who came long at a key point in my life who was 6 years older than me. We still are friends. I hope you enjoy your move.

  • Love your outlook on life there’s not many young people that can relate to that. Hope you always feel that way and stay close to that wonderful sister you have. God Bless

  • Cassy, you ARE a great person. And you say what I pray for every day … let’s get this country back to what it used to be.

  • I love that you are so positive about life after all you’ve been through ! You will reap
millions of rewards for that ! Too many people blame the bad parts in their past for the bad parts of their life now instead of putting it behind them like you are.

  • Congratulations on being picked for the Player Spotlight! So nice to meet a sweet young lady with a positive attitude. You are going to LOVE Colorado Springs. I’ve been there many times. We have a friend who lives in Aurora, Colorado and, when we visit her we take day trips there. It is a lovely town with so much to see and do and the scenery is 2nd to none. If you haven’t seen it yet – make sure you get to The Garden of the Gods. It is one of my favorite places ever. And if you ever do get to be invisible and make that trip to DC – yell in someone’s ear and tell them to put America back to basics. Good luck to you with your move.

  • What a refreshing young lady. And I was afraid for the youth today. Good luck in your choices in life and God bless you.

  • Wow, what a positive and fun profile. You sound like such a nice and well rounded person, with such a great attitude. And sounds like your fur babies have a great mom. Good luck with your move and keep being you.

  • i love that you have bulldogs! :)

  • Hi Cassy fun to read about another person from the great state of Minnesota. I am also from Minnesota and have to laugh at the people that ask how can you live their it is so cold. Autumn is my favorite time of the year. Good luck in your future, you have a great outlook on life.

  • HI have a friend, her and her brother had an alcololic father.BUT..They hated it.It made beo and her much stronger.(In Canada here) They got their educations and both went in on 3 coffee fraanchaises. You have Duncan Do..We have Tim Hortons. They are in the black now too.
