Welcome Pogo UK Players to the New Pogo News!

As part of our major Pogo News renovation, we will now be providing all Pogo news in one place – http://news.pogo.com.

Up until now, we’ve maintained separate News sites for the US and the UK, and as such, some important news has been missed.

With a combined Pogo News site, both the UK community and the US community will see the same news.

For the UK, we will include a “UK News” tab to call out stories specifically targeted for the UK audience. This will include some promotions and some UK specific stories.

Unfortunately, there is a slight language issue. Americans, perhaps due to their eagerness to streamline everything – yes, let’s be generous and assume the best – have sadly changed the spelling of certain words, like “colour”, “humour”, “licence”, “romanticise”, and many others. The Pogo News will use American English, except in cases where the story is expressly for the UK audience.

Furthermore, in time we will be retiring the UK Editor e-mail address, and ask that our UK players simply write to the editor@pogo.com.

We do recognise that our UK players may feel like they’ve lost a bit of their UK Pogo experience. However, we do feel that the combined site will provide a plethora of information that UK players currently do not have access to, including regular features like Ms. Netiquette, the Tiki Brothers, the Players Spotlight and more.

UK prizes and promotions will continue to be maintained separately.
